Degas.js is a very very amateur project and provides only basic functionality, but it is ready to use and easily extendable. You can read more about motivation, the way it works and how to extend it in my report.
The framework is open source (public domain licence), so go ahead and fork it on github, modify as you wish and use as you wish. Also, you can send us your contributions using GitHub.
